Part Dos: Almond Milk

by Callie England on February 28, 2011

I decided I’d go ahead and make another video for almond milk to show how the whole straining process works. I know some might want to strain the sunflower seed milk – so hopefully, this video will show you how :)

Oh, and for those of you without a vitamix – No worries!! Jess just made cashew milk (freaking yum) in a Ninja… Yay – Go check it out!  (make sure to soak your nuts pre-blending!!)

P.S.What’s up with that preview!? haha… I’ll have to work on this, as I’m not a huge fan of the worship/praying still below :(

yayyy, once again – thank you for this! as I was making mine I was kinda like, “I really hope this doesn’t need to be strained, because I’d have no means to go about that.” I lucked out for the cashew- but now I know for future (almond milk) use. If how delicious the cashew milk turned out is any indication for how homemade almond milk tastes, I’ll probably become a nut milk snob :P
(another note for using a wimpy blender – I think blending the cashews with just a cup or so of liquid at first before adding the rest also really helped it to be smooth.)
