I indeed did receive my camera yesterday, and let’s just say, it’s monstrous… And lovely! While it’s about 20 steps up from the rebel xt that I’ve been shooting with here at work, it’s still going to take me some time to successfully figure out. I actually think I might enroll in the continuing ed photo class at the Kansas City Art Institute this summer… maybe I’ll even convince them to give me a discounted alumni rate 
ok, fat chance… but I can hope, right!?
Last night I was planning on making a raw seaweed salad from sweet beet and green been’s blog, however I just ended up without time to run to the store and pick up a few ingredients. Instead, I made this easy creamy hemp sauce from Pure 2 Raw’s blog and julienned a few zucchini. It ended up being OK, but not really satisfying for my taste buds. I actually think this sauce would do better as a dip for more flavorful veggies, because the zucchini just seemed to bland in my opinion. Any who, because I’m still craving seaweed salad, I am determined to make it tonight… stay tuned!
